Metal braces are

Clear or ceramic braces
make treatment nearly invisible. The polymer brackets

Damon system brackets
consists of both clear and metal parts allowing braces
to be less visible without the need of elastic bands.
This enables less frictional force and in certain cases

STb light lingual braces
are attached to the inside or lingual side of the teeth
which makes them completely non-visible.
The back side of each tooth has its own unique shape-unlike
the front of each tooth. Each lingual bracket must be
custom-formed to the unique shape of each individual tooth.
Thus, only certain clinicians are able to offer this form
of specialized treatment.

whereby a series clear removable aligners are used to
straighten teeth. Essix braces are the common brand for
these clear aligners that are made in local laboratories
for fitting. |

Removable appliances include retainers
and active plates.
Retainers are normally worn after fixed braces are removed
in maintaining teeth in preventing relapses.
Active plates are commonly worn by children in guiding
their erupting teeth into specific positions. |
